The Destination Thailand Visa (DTV) is a multi-entry, long-term visa introduced by the Thai government to attract remote professionals, freelancers, Muay Thai, Thai cuisine or Thai language enthusiasts, and their dependents. It allows you to stay in Thailand for up to 180 days per entry, renewable, with a total validity of 5 years.

Eligibility conditions
Based on official Thai immigration sources, applicants must generally meet the following conditions:
- ✓Be at least 20 years old (minors may qualify as dependents of an eligible primary applicant).
- ✓Hold a valid passport (at least 6 months of validity).
- ✓Have at least 500,000 THB / ~13,500 EUR / ~15,000 USD available on your bank account.
- ✓Apply from outside Thailand (a Thai embassy or consulate in your country of residence).
- ✓Provide supporting documents: proof of remote work (employment contract, freelance invoices, client contracts), or proof of enrolment in a Muay Thai, Thai cuisine or Thai language programme, or medical treatment documentation, or family ties for dependents.
